Recently we told you the story of Eddie Krumpe, whose political views are under attack in his workplace.
Of course, the story didn’t end there, and we want to update you on the latest from Skills, Inc.
On May 27, Eddie was presented with a corrective action report detailing management response to his freedom of expression.
Among the “facts of the incident” listed, it mentions the American flag flying upside down on his pickup truck. 4 USC, Section 8(a) provides, “The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.”
LFA would like to know, if our republic is not in dire distress right now, when will it be? Already, precious, inalienable liberties are threatened or are being lost altogether. American citizens are dying at the hands of their own government! If we wait for that same government to notify us when the nation is in dire distress, it will be far, far too late.
The time to inform our fellow citizens that the nation is, in fact, in extreme danger is not tomorrow, not next week, but right now. How does this create a “hostile” work environment? Uncomfortable, yes. The loss of a republic is concerning to us all, but it does not make the messenger dangerous.
In addition to some unidentified “mystery employees” lodging complaints about Mr. Krumpe “threatening violence”, (whatever happened to being faced by your accuser?), Skills, Inc. also levels charges at this organization, going so far as to call us out, by name, in bold letters on a company document.
We wonder: how does a constitutional task force, who advocates for freedom and liberty for all Americans and seeks peaceful, non-violent solutions to overt government aggression become “hostile” and a cause for employee discipline? As Mr. Krumpe clearly states in his remarks, he only discussed the topic with a co-worker who expressed an interest in the group.
What was he supposed to do? Not discuss the topic and be accused of fostering a hostile work environment for being evasive?
It sounds like a catch-22 to us.
For those interested, here is the corrective action in question:KrumpeUpdate
LFA applauds the bold actions of our brother, Eddie Krumpe. We stand with him, even as we expect many, many more “white martyrdom” incidents such as this one in the near future. Influencing individuals by threatening their livelihoods is nothing new, and is as despicable as it is effective.
As always, we remain undeterred and resolute in our mission to restore liberty for all.
